How can we out the fraud in charge of our team?
The man is not even trying to win games for us now.

Morgan played well all season and can't get a kick. We've got creative players on the bench who may as well be at home having a wank.

The team are playing like strangers, with no attacking game plan.

Allardyce is limping through this season and yet still considered with a chance of renewal.

Is it time for one final strong push from the fans to finally out this wretched curse on our club.

I accept the team has performed ok in the last 3 seasons...but ask yourself...would any other bob average manager have done any worse?

We've a loser in charge. His mentality is dour. He needs to go.

What would it take as clearly performance of the first team isn't the determining factor in the boards eyes?!

He appears to be functioning as an intentionally incompetent moron.

But how are his employers appearing because of his outrageous antics.

Stubbo, forget fucking petitions etc....as said already good old fashioned chanting and banners is still the best way!

I can guarantee you that regular chanting for a few games in a row with enough fans joining in so that it can not be ignored by the owners and media would do the trick!

No idea why if enough people felt or feel so strongly about this it hasn't already been done?

I suspect it is because in reality he hasn't done a bad enough job and fans are apathetic and a divided on this issue.
Mind you nothing was done when Grant was clearly taking us down so maybe our younger fans just don't have the passion and balls.

Stubbo,
I think that fact and that we have been on a bad run for too long is why he won't get a new deal. Would you offer him a new 2 year contract when like DS & DG they both hate paying compo to sacked managers.

Can you imagine getting to December and being in bottom 3 after all the £millions the board has spent and transfer records broken. I really think SA has lost his way and is now a fraud....

Re: How can we out the fraud in charge of our team?
An "interesting" fact:

After 34 games in our first season back in the Premier league, we were 10th.

Two seasons later, with a better team, significant investment in the side, and the time to mould the side in his own image, after 34 games....we're 11th.

Hardly progress!

money talks. simple as that.
while ticket sales and matchday revenue arent the most important revenue streams, the club will still be forced to take note.

if he gets a new contract and you really want him out - dont go and dont buy merchandise.

Re: How can we out the fraud in charge of our team?
So what can and should the fans do to make a difference on this?

What would carry any real weight with the board?

- Social Media Campaigns
- Websites
- Online Petitions

Do any of the above really have any impact, or will it really take at-the-ground unrest, national media coverage, and unsavoury scenes?

Or would that really make any difference? You only have to look at Ashley at Newcastle to see how powerless the fans can be.

Is there anything the fans can really do, and isn't this why there is a general feeling of resignation that this is our lot and we just have to see what happens?

Re: How can we out the fraud in charge of our team?
if (and it is a big IF) he does get a contract extension, i will be intrigued as to the fans response.
people are very vocal on her about getting him out, but thus far there has been no major campaign of trying to get rid.

i get the feeling he will get an extension, we will all moan about it but no-one will actually do anything.

Either way, I hold my hands up and say I was wrong. I honestly thought he'd turn it around and we'd be sitting comfortably in 8th and closing in Southampton's tail. The issue for me now is performances continue to be woeful and at times I'm left scratching my head when I see his tactics and line ups. It's also the negativity and uncertainty is clearly affecting the team.

I don't want that negativity eating into another season. So I think it's time for fresh face and new ideas.

Stuck with Carroll?

We could have done with him being available.

Re: How can we out the fraud in charge of our team?
What you have to ask yourself, is if given the resources has he really done a 'good' job, by which I mean done more than you'd reasonably expect of a competent manager with the equivalent resources. Has he over-achieved?

Season 1 - Promotion via Play-Offs
- I'd argue this was an underachievement. We had the most money to spend, the best squad, lost next to none of our significant players and the highest wage bill in the division.

Season 2 - Mid Table Finish
- This was an over-achievement, based largely on the loan signing of Carroll proving successful for a time, and the first season 'bounce' that some clubs manage. Either way, we can't moan about the season we returned to the PL.

Season 3 - Lower Mid Table

- We spent most of the season flirting heavily with relegation, if not looking highly likely to go down. The manager signed Carroll on a huge deal, without considering the fitness concerns about him that had been evident from long before he joined us (ignoring the prolific Bony in the progress). Other signings like Jarvis also proved particularly uninspired, and failed to address the issues of creativity and pace in our midfield. Result...Under Achieved

Season 4 - On-going

- Some great acquisitions (although how many of them owe anything to the manager are questionable...Kouyate and Valencia maybe? Cresswell probably from Tony Henry's identification. Definitely not Sakho as established. Fantastic early season promise, despite a woeful pre-season, that 'seemed' to coincide with the manager being unable to select his preferred starting line up or formation. Once available it was all change, all momentum lost and a woeful run of results stretching back over 4 months now that mean we are fortunate to have been out of trouble so early. Performances, and results have plummetted. Numerous good positions have been lost through overly defensive siege mentality tactics, negative approach to the game and ultimately poor substitutions. We're likely to finish in a similar position to last season in the table. Underachieved.

Manager value Add

- How does he do against the 'big teams' - do we get results we aren't expected to get? Does he add value through inspired use of tactics, changes mid-game, or through clever use of substitutions? The answer lets face it to all of this is no. We go into games with the expectation of not winning, not even trying to win against the big teams. The greatest folly being the Chelsea game at Xmas which really defined our season. Very little value add in my opinion.

Club Fit.

- The guy just isn't West Ham. Fans generally either hate him, or make excuses for him on the back of an era of continued turbulence. Very very few can claim to have any kind of empathy or favour for the man. He is divisive at best .

All in all I find it hard to believe that Allardyce has done any better than someone like Bruce, Hughes, Pardew, or any other manager of a similar ilk in the circumstances would have done. Arguably some of these may well have achieved more.

As should at the start of the season, we have a group of players that properly inspired, and with the right mindset and game plan instilled can go out and win matches, playing fast incisive football and take on the top teams. The fact the manager has failed to motivate the team over half of this season, that performances have nosedived and that the tactics employed have cost the team on numerous occasions just goes to show we risk little through his removal.

I genuinely find the case for keeping him, aside from the "Well we're midtable, that's good for us" argument, tiny.

At best he'd done no better than should be expected given the resources available. At worst he's underachieved.

Time to get rid.

Re: How can we out the fraud in charge of our team?
It wouldn't have mattered who we bought in January the manager would have stuck wuth Nolan and Carroll and his tactics. 'Not strengthening in January' is blx and let's him off the hook. If he had the money he would have bought shit - just look at his targets Fletcher ffs and that non existent bloke from Sunderland. So it would have been left to Sully and Allardyce would have rssented it and acted as he has done ....by ignoring the players, playing them out of position and making them play 4-5-1.

This is exactly what my opinion WAS. Regardless of his arrogance and style, I thought he did a decent job overall. I was waiting and hoping he would turn our form around but with every game that has gone by since, we are looking worse and worse and the tactical changes he has made in that time has been poor and quite rightly questionable.

He hasn't turned it around and as I've said before, failure to this season was not recruiting in January when we desperately needed reinforcements. That blame lies with the Manager and Allardyce. Who ever is in charge next summer really needs to part ways with some pretty average players (Cole, Nolan, Noble, O'Brien, Jussi, Potts, Jarvis, Maiga) and ensure they bring in some much needed quality and strength in depth. The Manager bought well to get us up and keep us up 1st season but we are still stuck with many of the same players in our squad and we are now on a cycle where we need players at a better level to move forward.

Plus the club is no longer united. The fans want him out and the uncertainty and negativity is just making things worse.

So I do now think they need to part ways in the summer as I think it is best for all concerned. My only hope is that they get the right man to replace him. I'd love a Klopp or a Benitez. I can see the attraction of a Howe but I worry because he has only ever been at Bournemouth and the step up can't be predicted.

Anyway, time will tell.

If Sullivan keeps Allardyce on he needs to be fucking shot

We need to grow as a club, we will never grow with this fraud in charge

He never takes any personal responsibility for any failings, it's always someone or something else that is at fault

Whatever we as fans have to do we have to do to get rid of this morose cunt

Re: How can we out the fraud in charge of our team?
Leicester was a tough game because 'they are fighting for their lives', QPR was a tough game 'because they are fighting for their lives', 'we're not really expected to be matching' the top teams so it's okay when we lose to them.

So who do you want to play Sam? We'll see if we can make it happen for you. How about a team in the same position as us and we'll play them at ours which should be a nice advantage? How about Stoke? Oh no, silly me. We tried to defend a 1-0 lead for 85 minutes against them while they played us off the park, didn't they?
